We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director People & Culture to shape and embed our enterprise-wide strategy to enable business growth as part of our People Strategy.

We are looking for a leader who can understand our matrix business, move with agility between strategy and delivery, with a focus on moving our organisation forward. This role will work across our matrix structure to deliver across our employee life cycle (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Leadership development, Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Organisational Design, Organisational Effectiveness) collaborating across our Centres of Expertise (COE’s). Aligning it to a common culture and expectation of inclusive behaviour, and support People & Culture Partners being the face of it to their functions.

This role will report to the People & Culture Director.

What you can bring to the team will be deep subject matter expertise in all aspects of people consulting to advise and support colleagues and business leaders. This exciting new role covers two main clients groups: products and operations. We are looking for a candidate who is motivated and energised to shape the future of our organisation

Skills:

  • Strong business acumen for understanding business priorities, opportunities and challenges, and external influencing factors.
  • Ability to understand and analyse data to influence key decision making.
  • Experience evolving a talent strategy, through diagnostic thinking, needs analyses and data analysis, managing expectations, building collaborative relationships, and challenging constructively with a point of view.
  • Experience building talent strategies, including high potential identification and acceleration, assessment, succession planning, career development planning and talent movement.
  • Change management skills to help the business plan and lead change effectively by using consulting skills and providing relevant change frameworks and tools.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure completion and implementation of projects or programs on time and within budget.
  • Strong coaching skills and influencing skills.
  • Ability to recognise where senior leaders need challenged and be comfortable to challenge the status quo, engrained cultures and behaviours.
  • Ability to problem solve effectively, using data and other means to present business cases to a broad client group.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and its application, particularly around TUPE regulations.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix environment.
