Job Purpose:

Acuity is seeking an experienced Business Development professional with extensive experience in selling to the Private Equity and Alternative Asset Management sectors. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the alternative markets, especially the competitive landscape, offshoring business, and an established network. Excellent communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders are essential.

Experience presenting and marketing to C-Suite executives or senior stakeholders within the Alternatives space (particularly Private Equity and Venture Capital) is highly desirable. Experience in offshoring services is an advantage.

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Manage high-quality enterprise sales cycles with portfolio managers, CFOs, CXOs, etc., including:
  • Identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients
  • Leveraging existing relationships for upselling and cross-selling
  • Qualifying and generating demand from clients and prospects
  • Creating compelling value propositions aligned with client needs
  • Negotiating and closing complex agreements with CXOs
  • Achieving sales quotas through new client acquisition and leveraging existing relationships for high-value services
  • Negotiating with COO/CXO level to promote outsourcing benefits
  • Meeting revenue targets while fostering customer relationships and ensuring satisfaction
  • Travel to European coverage countries as required

Key Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (highly desirable)
  • Experience selling to Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Consulting firms
  • Experience working with international teams
  • Proficiency in an additional European language (desirable)
  • Experience in offshoring/outsourcing (advantageous)
  • Strong network within Private Markets
  • Ability to sell solutions and engage with senior decision-makers throughout the sales cycle
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and client relationship skills
  • Experience leading sales efforts, proposal development, and deal closing
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions
