Job description

Finegreen are supporting a large NHS organisation in the appointment a senior Estates and Facilities professional, who significant experience of PFI Healthcare related contracts and is consider a Subject Matter Expert within this area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the contract management of the PFI Project Agreement and Facilities Management Agreement;
  • Support the delivery of the Trust’s overall service strategy, occupy the role of ‘Trust’s Facilities Advisor’ under the PFI Project Agreement;
  • Provide support to the Director of Estates and Facilities on the development and implementation of a Trust Board approved Estates Strategy and developing and maintaining an up-to-date Masterplan (Development Control Plan);
  • Have a significant contribution to the corporate improvement and transformation plans for the Trust and lead the Estates & Facilities function’s influence and support to wider transformational change;
  • Prepare PFI Operational Reports for the Trust’s Capital and Estates Committee, Hospital Management Board and Finance Investment and Performance Committee;
  • Lead a team of staff including the Hard and Soft FM PFI Monitoring Service Leads and the underlying delivery teams – providing leadership, advice, coordinating input and monitoring progress;
  • Lead on the PFI service provider meeting the KPI’s, provide expertise in negotiating the fiscal deductions associated.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Chartered Membership is desirable, Degree in Engineering, Building, Surveying, Architecture, Estate or Facilities Management;
  • Extensive experience working within PFI Estates within healthcare, either client side or Trust side;
  • Able to demonstrate a strong track record of delivery in challenging circumstances;
