Position: Associate Director of Housing

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 per annum

Location: Camberwell, London

Fixed Term Contract: 12 months (with the expectation to become permanent).

The Associate Director of Housing will join a vibrant team playing a pivotal role in providing exceptional services to tenants. This role oversees services that determine the strategic, financial, and reputational success of the organization. Although initially a fixed-term contract, there is an expectation for this position to become permanent.

About you

This is a creative and hands-on role. The Associate Director of Housing is responsible for meeting tenant needs and ensuring the condition of the homes meets high standards and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include managing a small in-house team and external suppliers to deliver a range of services.

The key areas of leadership include:

• The maintenance and upkeep of social housing properties
• Tenant engagement and satisfaction
• Experience as a Director of Housing, Senior Manager, Head of Assets, or similar role

Qualifications and experience:

• 5+ years in the Housing Sector
• Strong understanding of the housing sector and current trends
• Experience designing and delivering customer service frameworks
• Experience managing a small team
• Expertise in data analysis, business case development, and proposals
• Proven budget planning and cost management skills
• Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory standards in social housing
