A leading NHS Trust in Manchester is seeking an Associate Director of Estates to lead strategic development and oversee infrastructure services. This senior management role involves ensuring high-quality service delivery, compliance with statutory requirements, and stakeholder engagement. As Associate Director of Estates, you will play a key role in shaping the future provision of Estates Services within the Trust. This will include the strategic development of services to ensure they are high quality, progressive, responsive to internal and external demand, patient-focused, and fully support the strategic and future operational needs of the service delivery contracts. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies and policies for the Directorate.
You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic business development plans and a strong governance framework to ensure all services are safe, fit for purpose, efficient, and effective for patients, staff, relatives, and visitors. You will manage the organisation's infrastructure, maintaining a high-quality and cost-effective service, and provide expert advice to colleagues.
You will help to maintain and develop strong and effective links with all key stakeholders, deputising for the Director of Estates and Facilities when required at local, regional, and national levels. You will also assist in corporate decision-making when needed. You will provide management and leadership to maintenance, estates, and other facilities activities.
You will have responsibility for ensuring the environment is safe for patients, staff, and the public.
