They are currently seeking an ambitious Associate / Director to join their expanding Electrical team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a background in Electrical Engineering who is passionate about driving this team forwards.

About the Company

With a history spanning over 50 years, our client has grown to a team of over 180 professionals, including a dedicated Electrical & Mechanical team of 12. They work across a diverse range of projects including Residential, Education, Ministry of Justice (MOJ), Commercial, and Public Sector developments.

Job Overview
  • Play an integral role in expanding and developing the London / Maidstone office (currently a team of 4).
  • Contribute to the company's operational strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and expand client relationships and frameworks.
  • Represent the company at networking events to enhance brand visibility and business opportunities.
  • Act as the technical authority on electrical building services design, including LV power distribution, lighting systems, fire and safety systems, renewable technologies, and smart controls.
  • Lead and manage complex electrical engineering projects from concept to handover, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
  • Report directly to Executive Directors on business development, marketing, and activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with IET or CIBSE.
  • Extensive post-qualification experience in electrical building services design and management, preferably in the UK.
  • Proven track record in leading major projects.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Amtech/ETAP, Dialux/Relux, Revit MEP.
  • Experience in leading and developing engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, client-focused, with strong business acumen.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
