Our client, a large global consulting and advisory firm, is seeking to hire an M&A advisor with extensive experience advising on deals within power, energy transition, and utilities sectors. This individual will provide transaction, strategic, market, regulatory, and broader advisory services mainly within the UK.

The team has experienced strong growth in recent years, exceeding its recent budgets. It currently has 10 FTEs and aims to double its revenue and size over the next three years. The client offers a fantastic working culture, opportunities to collaborate with some of the smartest professionals in the market, and progression based on merit.

Key responsibilities:

1. Providing M&A advisory and financial advice to clients in energy transition sectors (such as energy efficiency, connections, metering, renewables), in collaboration with the Firm's Corporate Finance team.
2. Conducting regulatory due diligence on transactions in the regulated utility sector, utilizing the team's specialized skills in regulation, finance, and cost assessment.
3. Offering strategic, regulatory, and market advice to corporate and infrastructure fund clients within energy transition segments.
4. Providing energy transition strategic advice to regulated utilities in the UK.
