Job summary

Taymouth Castle Golf & Sport Club, part of Discovery Land Company, seeks an Associate Director – Development & Construction to lead the full lifecycle of high‑value mixed‑use projects in Scotland. You’ll manage a multi‑discipline team, coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors, and ensure delivery to the highest standards across new builds, renovations and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will hold a construction management degree, have 15+ years’ experience in luxury hospitality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• Minimum of fifteen years’ experience managing high‑value construction projects.
• Senior Project Manager or similar managerial role with buildings, civil infrastructure and utilities experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects from pre‑contract to completion in a fast‑paced, high‑value portfolio.
• Oversee procurement and contract documentation, including tender processes.
• Coordinate external consultants (architects, engineers, QS) and design teams.
• Develop and implement delivery programmes, risk mitigation, and budget control.
• Maintain strong client relationships and proactive stakeholder communication.
• Mentor and lead a team of project managers and managers across departments.
