Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Specialise in Commercial Real Estate Finance (“CREF”) and Fund Finance.

  • Review and assess the structure, timing, market pricing, de-risking scenarios, and syndication-related legal documents for primary underwritten loans.

  • Engage actively with stakeholders, including portfolio managers and originators, to develop and execute distribution strategies for secondary loan distributions.

  • Provide pricing feedback to origination teams upon request and present syndication perspectives during client pitches.

  • Offer market intelligence to support structuring decisions, monitor underwritten positions, and manage portfolio positions.

  • Collect essential market information to enable informed decision-making and deal structuring.

  • Lead bookrunning for European transactions, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed about the syndication process.

  • Assist in bookrunning transactions in other regions, consistently updating stakeholders on the syndication process.

  • Develop, maintain, and manage relationships with loan investors in the CREF and Fund Finance sectors, collaborating with public-side sales colleagues for primary syndications.

  • Establish and nurture relationships with investors from a secondary sales coverage perspective.

  • Manage and draft syndication materials, including information memorandums, syndication term sheets, invitation letters, and NDAs.

  • Handle investor Q&A on syndicated deals and work closely with the deal team to provide necessary due diligence information for investor approvals.

  • Provide accurate and detailed information on syndication strategies for internal approvals at various committees, including underwriting applications, in a timely manner.

  • Support the team in preparing internal performance review presentations and market updates.

Qualifications
  • Relevant professional experience in Commercial Real Estate financing – preferably in a Loan Syndication capacity.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Proficient with MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and DebtDomain.

  • Open to travel across UK and Europe from time to time as per business needs.

  • Candidate can be based in London or Frankfurt.
