Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious Associate Director with a proven track record in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other Life Sciences construction projects and programmes, in both the public and private sectors. As a Life Sciences Lead, you will develop and execute a business plan aimed at sustained sector growth.

  • Lead small to medium-sized complex commissions and support major new build schemes in London.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Plan and secure resources for projects or programmes using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Lead and manage project teams, delegating tasks with clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues with effective mitigation strategies.
  • Keep projects on track, delivering on time and within budget, following relevant project management standards.
  • Build and facilitate relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
  • Monitor and report project progress and outcomes using appropriate metrics.
  • Evaluate project impact and benefits with evidence-based methods.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sectors.
  • Established network within the industry supply chain.
  • Strong understanding of design and industry trends.
  • Proven success in managing large projects or programmes.
  • Knowledge of engineering and/or construction management.
  • Degree in construction and/or engineering.
