Locri Recruitment is partnering with a leading architectural practice in Surrey to appoint an Associate Director. The successful candidate will lead across delivery, people management, client relationships, and business development, with a clear pathway toward Partner status.

Ideal candidates bring ARB registration, significant UK experience, and a strong track record in large-scale commercial, life science and healthcare projects. ARB qualification and design leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• AR B registration and UK architectural qualification required.
• Significant post-qualification experience in UK architectural practice.
• Strong track record of successful project delivery.
• Experience in managing programmes, budgets, resources and teams.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept through to completion.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, resources and delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Oversee design, planning and technical delivery.
• Manage project fees, invoicing, cash flow and financial performance.
• Lead, mentor and develop architectural teams.
• Support recruitment and resource planning.
• Contribute to bids, tenders and business development activities.
• Develop existing client relationships and identify new opportunities.
