Bring your skills to the mix as an Associate Director in ICA Engineering, you'll play a vital role in business development and ICA engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.

We specialise in instrumentation and control/automation across sectors like Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We provide industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. We currently have opportunities in our Epsom office.

Your Purpose:

1. Own and direct teams undertaking technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high quality.
2. Define briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
3. Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones and programmes.
4. Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
5. Set quality assurance standards in design.
6. Grow, develop, and manage ICA engineering capability within the practice.

What you can bring:

1. Chartered or Fellow Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.
2. Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
3. Knowledge in ICA design (instrumentation, PLC, SCADA), motor control, system architecture, fieldbus networks, P&ID’s, ATEX installation, functional safety, control specifications, schedules, and system requirements in process/industrial environments.
4. Expertise in UK design standards, practices, and guidance.
5. Proven technical leadership in multidisciplinary delivery.
6. A proactive work mentality to drive and expand AtkinsRéalis' client portfolio.
