Job Description
Our UK&I T&D team is spread across multiple locations including Manchester. We are recruiting for a primary plant focused Associate Director to join our UK Transmission and Distribution department. The role involves HV design for electrical power projects at transmission and distribution voltage levels, focusing on primary plant design for infrastructure, grid connections, and private networks at 132 kV to 400 kV.
Typical projects include feasibility studies, optioneering, FEED, detailed design, and design assurance on substations and infrastructure. Work involves projects with transmission network operators in UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East, including connections of renewable generation and hyperscale data centers.
The role also includes support for bidding, project, and quality management.
