Job description

We are in search of an Associate Director Biostatistics, with statistical expertise in HTA and Pricing and Reimbursement activities. This role offers the chance to provide statistical solutions to HTA problems. The successful candidate will work closely with International Value & Access and HEOR teams to shape ways of working for Joint Clinical Assessment in Europe to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead implementation of efficient and innovative statistical methodologies in HTA (including (network) meta-analysis, population-adjusted methods), reimbursement activities, clinical trials, and observational research to accelerate patient access across global regions.
  • Collaborate with Health Economics and Outcome Research, Market Access, and other strategic functions to drive quantitative decision-making.
  • Plan, prioritize, and oversee project activities, ensuring effective resource management and partnerships with vendors.
  • Support responses to payer requests and contribute to scientific interactions with decision-making agencies and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure quality, timely, and consistent statistical deliverables, applying best practices and organizational learning.
  • Support vendor selection and oversee outsourced activities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in HTA, and innovative statistical methodologies, especially in observational research.
  • Communicate statistical findings clearly to non-statistical stakeholders.
Your Experience
  • PhD with 4+ years’ experience or MS with 8+ years’ experience in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical applications in HTA, including indirect treatment comparisons and innovative experimental design.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across different therapeutic areas.
