Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director to lead cost management for Industrial & Logistics projects in the UK. You will act as a trusted advisor, oversee cost plans, reports, procurement and final accounts, and mentor junior staff.

The role focuses on delivering warehousing, logistics and manufacturing developments, managing client expectations and building strong relationships with stakeholders across projects from feasibility to handover.

Qualifications

• Strong cost management experience within the Industrial & Logistics sector.
• Experience delivering warehousing, logistics, manufacturing or industrial developments.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.

• Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.

Turner & Townsend is looking for an experienced Associate Director to join our growing Industrial & Logistics Cost Management team.

This is an opportunity to work on some of the UK's most high-profile industrial, logistics and manufacturing developments, partnering with leading developers, investors and occupiers across projects ranging from refurbishment schemes to major distribution centres, fulfilment hubs and advanced manufacturing facilities.

The Role

As an Associate Director, you'll lead cost management commissions from feasibility through to completion, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and a key leader within the project team.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading the delivery of cost management services across Industrial & Logistics projects.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Preparing and presenting cost plans, reports and commercial advice.
• Managing procurement and tendering processes.
• Controlling project costs, change management and final accounts.
• Supporting and developing junior team members.
• Contributing to the continued growth of the Industrial & Logistics sector.
