Job summary

Recursion is seeking an Associate Director of Clinical Supply Chain to lead end-to-end global supply strategies for Phase I–III trials. You will manage forecasting, distribution, and inventory, while coordinating with external vendors and internal functions to ensure uninterrupted patient supply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years in clinical project management or clinical supply chain management in pharma/biotech.
• Direct experience managing the clinical supply chain for late-stage pivotal trials (Phase IIb/III).
• Deep knowledge of global clinical trial supply operations and complex distribution networks.
• Hands-on experience designing and managing IRT/RTSM systems and understanding cGMP/cGCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end clinical supply chain strategy for global programs, establishing Phase I/II processes and scaling for Phase III.
• Oversee forecasting, packaging, labeling, global distribution, logistics, and inventory as trial footprints expand.
• Manage external packaging vendors, CMOs, and trial supply depots; implement IRT/RTSM logic for flexible trial designs.
• Build data-driven workflows using AI to optimize forecasting, inventory, and logistics.
• Partner with Clinical Operations, QA, Regulatory, and CMC to align supply strategies with milestones.
• Create scalable supply chain tools, SOPs, and risk-mitigation strategies for registrational trials.
