A leading engineering practice in Leeds is seeking an Associate Director / Technical Director to lead their flood risk consultancy. This role involves developing client relationships, providing technical leadership, and building a new team. We're seeking a proven leader in flood risk and drainage consultancy to spearhead the launch of a new regional team for a growing, forward-thinking engineering practice. This is an opportunity to step into a role where you'll set the direction, build the team, and establish yourself as a key figure in the company's continued UK expansion.

The Role

• Lead and develop a new Flood Risk capability in the Leeds office, building client relationships and securing exciting projects.
• Provide technical leadership on flood risk assessments, surface water management, and drainage strategies for development and infrastructure schemes.
• Take ownership of business development activities, winning work from both existing and new clients.
• Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with other senior leaders across the business to integrate services and deliver outstanding results.
