Job summary

Gridlines is seeking a senior financial modeling leader in the UK to guide teams across active assignments and drive the development of advanced models for strategic decision-making.

You will shape modeling methodologies, discuss commercial issues with clients, and lead planning, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery. A strong accounting/finance background and Excel expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of relevant experience in a financial role within advisory or large corporate setting.
• Deep understanding of accounting concepts; accounting qualification beneficial.
• Experience with Project Finance, Corporate Finance or Financial Planning concepts.
• Strong analytical skills with proven ability in building and operating financial models in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple teams across a portfolio of active assignments.
• Create and optimize comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide strategic guidance on structuring and developing models.
• Discuss commercial issues with clients and reflect them in the model.
• Enhance financial modeling methodologies and tools for continuous improvement.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and allocate resources for delivery.
