Associate Director - Event Staffing (UK Operations)

Location: Bollington, Cheshire Salary: £55,000-£70,000 DOE + performance bonus up to £15,000 (uncapped yearly increase, salary review in 6months) + share scheme year 2. Contract: Full-time, Permanent

A Rare Leadership Opportunity This is a once-in-a-career chance to take the reins of a well-established business during a major growth phase. We are actively investing in growth and recently secured several long-term projects so for the right person, this is a serious, high-impact role with genuine earning potential.

The Role A senior leadership position ideal for an experienced operations or staffing focused manager from a high-volume temporary labour or event background. You’ll be accountable for UK operations managing a growing head-office team, leading client workforce planning, service delivery and compliance. Reporting to the overseas-based owner and working closely with Sales and Staffing operations Managers, you’ll have the autonomy to drive results from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of temporary staffing operations, including recruitment, workforce supply and planning and post-event debriefs
  • Client focused to ensure event teams are deployed efficiently, briefed, and performance-ready.
  • Partner with Sales and Ops teams to support the successful growth of client accounts and live activations
  • Monitor profitability, performance metrics, and operational KPIs
  • Represent Flair at executive-level client meetings, proposals, and strategic reviews
  • Triage issues to deliver solutions throughout the business.

What We’re Looking For

  • A leader ready to take full ownership of a branch and drive long-term success
  • Strong operational and strategic decision-making capability.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership or director-level role specifically within people managment and ideally in events, hospitality, or logistics
  • Deep understanding of workforce planning, live event logistics, and client relationship management
  • Solutions-driven and people-focused
  • Proactive, control freak organsiation level.
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems and reporting platforms
