The Role
You will work on projects related to water and energy networks, focusing on economic analysis of cost and performance.
Clients seek advice on benchmarking costs and performance. Projects vary widely, requiring a structured approach based on economic principles and creative problem-solving.
Methods include econometric models, cost-benefit analysis, and unit cost models.
Projects are high-profile, including advising on price control reviews, CMA appeals, and sector transactions.
Your responsibilities include report writing, data collection and verification, economic and econometric analysis, client engagement, and mentoring junior staff.
The Person
We seek a passionate learner with some experience in utilities, regulation, or consulting, familiar with utility data sources and analysis.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, microeconomics, or finance is required, along with strong report writing and quantitative skills.
