My Client is recruiting for an Associate Director EICA Engineering in the Water Sector. Location: Birmingham, Surrey or Bristol with Hybrid working.

Locations

We currently have opportunities in our Birmingham, Surrey and Bristol offices. Other locations may be considered.

Your Purpose
  • Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
  • Defining briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Setting quality assurance standards in design.
  • Grow, develop and manage ICA engineering capability within the practice.
What you can bring
  • Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.
  • Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in ICA design (instrumentation, PLC and SCADA systems), motor control systems, system architecture, fieldbus/communication networks, P&ID's, ATEX installation practice, functional safety, development of control specifications (URS/FDS), schedules and system requirements within process/industrial environment.
  • Expert knowledge on current UK design standards, working practices and guidance.
