The Associate Director/Director, Commerce Media is a highly visible and strategically important role at PubMatic, reporting to the Senior Director, Commerce Media. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Commerce Media space, particularly in leveraging first-party data assets, such as first-party shopper data, for commercialization within a real-time bidding environment.
Based in our London office, the role involves expanding relationships with major Commerce Media platforms, companies (including Retail Media, Travel Media, etc.), retailers, brands, and agencies. The focus is on promoting PubMatic’s Commerce media offerings, enhancing media and audience monetization strategies, and selling new data products to existing and new partners. The role requires a strategic, collaborative thinker capable of driving growth and acting as a subject-matter expert.
The candidate should have a solid understanding of the commerce media landscape, with a focus on retail media. Knowledge of programmatic advertising is a plus but not essential. The role demands excellent networking skills, industry trend awareness, and a proactive approach to learning about PubMatic’s technology. The ability to think creatively, work with senior executives, and manage large strategic partnerships with a consultative sales approach is crucial. Strong knowledge of audience monetization tactics related to Commerce Media and evangelizing PubMatic’s Connect platform are also important.
