Developing and maintaining information requirements and standards, developing and managing processes within a common data environment, leading the delivery of the information management function for project team.

You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Providing support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assessing resources and scope of work on projects to ensure that they are sufficient to meet project goals.
  • Assigning resources to jobs for projects.
  • Assuring Information Requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR and EIR) as per ISO 19650.
  • Assuring information standards, methods and procedures, and shared resources.
  • Developing a dashboard that tracks the allocation of resources to projects and identifies potential workload imbalances.
  • Developing an object library strategy.
  • Developing the client’s digital handover strategy.
  • Developing and maintaining an understanding of ISO 19650 and any applicable standards for clients.
  • Implementing governance and assurance processes.
  • Improving existing client relationships to increase the chances of winning new contracts and extending current contracts.
  • Liaising with the Mace Programme Lead to understand the client’s needs and ensure that the bid responses are compelling and aligned with the client’s strategic goals.
  • Monitoring digital handover to completion.
  • Participating in industry events to stay up to date on the latest BIM developments.
  • Raising job requisitions to identify and recruit new talent for the BIM team.
  • Researching compliance with new regulations and governance.
  • Reviewing and assessing bid responses to ensure these are compliant with the client’s requirements and that they align with MACE Consult’s capabilities.
  • Reviewing Autodesk construction cloud account management and staying up to date on the latest Autodesk developments.
  • Reviewing BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
  • Reviewing current technology solutions and researching new solutions that can be used to improve the BIM process including emerging technologies.
  • Staying up to date on the latest developments of applicable classifications.
  • Upskilling the client team, Mace project managers and design team by running BIM knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll Need To Have
  • Level 7 qualifications (or equivalent)
  • Integrated master’s degree, for example Master of Engineering (MEng), level 7 award, level 7 certificate, level 7 diploma, level 7 NVQ, Master’s degree, for example Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MSc), postgraduate certificate.
  • Advanced understanding of ISO 19650, BS 1192, common data environment (CDE), IFC, COBie, and classifications.
