Job description

Oliver James is partnered with a specialist Strategy & Transactions Management Consultancy in hiring an Associate Cyber Director within M&A, Deals and Transactions.

The role will be based in London on a hybrid basis paying c£95,000 - £115,000 basic plus strong bonuses, benefits and flexible options.

Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Involvement in client delivery across Cyber Due Diligence, Cyber post-deal reviews, improvement activities, and other transaction scenarios.
  • Operating as part of a team with high-performing Cyber Solutions consultants in London and across EMEA.
  • Leading meetings with senior stakeholders to advise on cyber approaches for due diligence, integration, carve-outs, and incident response.
  • Supporting activities to scale up our delivery model, contributing to key templates and engaging with internal teams.
  • Presenting to infrastructure fund and corporate clients on Cyber Security in the context of M&A.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • Knowledge of cyber security, ideally within a consulting capacity.
  • Understanding of policies, procedures, governance, and technical solutions for infrastructure compliance.
  • Proven experience in project management and team collaboration.
  • Knowledge of data protection and compliance regulations.
