We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of: Associate Director, Credit Sales
The role holder will also ensure the HSBC values are present in everything they do, both individually and as an organisation. The role is office-based, working at HSBC offices at Canada Square, London. You should reside within a reasonable travelling distance and be able to work in London on a full-time basis
In this role you will
- Enhance block business and cross selling opportunities
- Coverage of sophisticated credit accounts across High Grade cash product and derivatives across G10 currencies, with the aim to deepen the client relationships resulting in improved market share and rankings
- Identify sales opportunities that address specific needs for our clients and managing from identification to point of sale
- Grow deep and broad customer relationships, to enhance the HSBC franchise and generate value added business
- Build and maintain business relationships with clients in assigned area of responsibility
- Collaborate with other internal businesses within Markets and Securities Services as well as other areas within the Group e.g. Global Banking, Wholesale Banking, Wealth and Personal Banking and Private Banking
- Encourage constructive cross-country and cross-business teamwork by demonstrating collaboration and matrix management in action and challenging actions and behaviours that are not consistent with HSBC's diversity policy and/or the best interests of the business and its customers
To be successful you should meet the following requirements
• Previous high level experience dealing with Sterling accounts
• Knowledge of Asset Backed Securities (ABS) and High Yield (HY) primary & Secondary flow
• Demonstrable success in both sales account management and organic new origination business
• Understanding of complex Corporate & financial services Institutions
• Excellent relationship management skills across internal and external stakeholders with an ability to engender trust and confidence
• Good knowledge of financial services Risk & Governance and the appropriate controls used in a Front Office environment
• Strong Sterling credit knowledge
