Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, involving at least three days per week at our offices.

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join our Corporate Real Estate (‘CRE’) Capital Markets and Syndicate team within the Debt Solutions team, part of Corporate and Institutional Banking.

You will support all aspects of loan origination and distribution, including coordination, underwriting, and broader loan mandates. You will also support junior team members by sharing methodology and CRE knowledge.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Working with CRE Originators to grow the business and lead client pitches.
  2. Leading deal structuring through Term Sheet negotiations and advising on market conditions.
  3. Managing the syndication process, creating information memorandums, and assisting with trade settlement mechanics.
  4. Building relationships within the CRE loan market.
  5. Supporting execution of various loan solutions.
  6. Leading negotiations and structuring of loan documentation.
  7. Managing internal approval processes and reporting.
  8. Contributing to origination and syndication strategies.
  9. Supporting junior staff with methodology and CRE knowledge.
  10. Handling team reporting for external and internal purposes.
