Bring your skills to the mix as an Associate Director in Coastal Engineering. You'll play a vital role in every aspect of coastal engineering on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.

We specialise in all aspects of coastal engineering within multiple challenging sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Cities & Development. We provide industry-leading coastal modelling and engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. If you are passionate about this industry, we would love to talk to you.

Your Purpose:

  • Own and direct teams undertaking technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Define briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
  • Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Set quality assurance standards in design.
  • Develop and manage coastal engineering capabilities within the practice.

What you can bring:

  • Chartered Civil Engineer.
  • Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
  • Deep knowledge of coastal engineering analysis and design in the UK and internationally.
  • Ability to work with global clients to develop tailored solutions.
  • Promotion of technical excellence, sustainability, net zero, and digital innovation.
  • Mentoring and developing junior staff.
