Bring your skills to the mix as an Associate Director in Coastal Engineering, you'll play a vital role in every aspect of coastal engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.

We specialise in all aspects of coastal engineering, within multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy and Cities & Development. We continue to provide industry-leading coastal modelling and engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases. Your Purpose:

  • Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
  • Define briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Set quality assurance standards in design.
  • Grow, develop and manage coastal engineering capability within the practice.

What you can bring:

  • Chartered Civil Engineer.
  • Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
  • Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of coastal engineering analysis and design in the UK and overseas.
  • The ability to work with clients around the world to develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Promoting technical excellence, best practice, sustainability, net zero and digital innovation.
  • Mentoring and developing junior staff.
