Job summary

UCB in Brussels, Belgium, is seeking an Associate Director, Clinical Trial Devices (DSPOC) to lead end-to-end device activities across the clinical lifecycle for clinical drug development. The role coordinates device SMEs, backbone functions, and external partners to ensure clear ownership and traceability of device-related decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry or CRO.
• Experience interpreting regulatory and clinical frameworks across two+ device modalities (MDs, SaMD, IVDs, DHTs).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end device process across candidate/asset lifecycles.
• Define and drive device strategy and integrate into clinical development and study design.
• Lead creation and maintenance of key deliverables: Device Strategy Document (DSD), Device Study File (DSF), Device Assessment Report Document (DARD).
• Represent device strategy and device-related risks at governance forums.
