As an Associate Director in Civil Structural Engineering, you will play a vital role in business development and heavy civil engineering projects for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic projects domestically and internationally.

We specialize in heavy civil engineering across sectors such as Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Water. We provide comprehensive engineering solutions throughout project lifecycles, including client-side support and construction phases. We currently have opportunities in our Manchester office.

Your Purpose:

• Lead and manage teams undertaking technical design work following relevant standards and delivering high quality.
• Define project briefs, scope of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
• Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones.
• Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Establish quality assurance standards in design.
• Develop and manage heavy civil engineering capabilities within the practice.

What you can bring:

• Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer or equivalent.
• Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
• Deep knowledge of heavy civil engineering structures, including reinforced concrete and steel, across all design phases and construction, familiar with British Standards and American codes.
