Job Description

This role is an individual contributor position supporting the Global Regulatory Services and EMEA / APAC Regional Business Management activities. It involves working closely with global and regional leaders to align strategic and operational processes with financial goals and market strategies. The position is full-time, requiring a minimum of 4 days in the office per week with one day optional for remote work.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Partnering with senior management to ensure seamless business management.
  2. Overseeing expenses, headcount, CAPEX, and operational projects.
  3. Acting as a bridge between management, operations, and stakeholders to optimize workflows and budgets.
  4. Supporting strategic initiatives, process improvements, and risk mitigation.
  5. Managing resource allocation and performance analysis.
  6. Providing insights for decision-making and fostering stakeholder relationships.
  7. Preparing accurate reports and documents in compliance with regulations.
  8. Supporting UK and regional activities, including governance and deep dive reviews.
  9. Collaborating on new business initiatives and strategic projects.
  10. Reviewing Business Impact Assessments (BIA) and coordinating Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
Requirements to succeed:
  1. Strong knowledge of Capital Markets operations and processes.
  2. Understanding of Capital Markets trading and asset class transaction lifecycles.
  3. Knowledge of RBC Capital Markets organizational structure.
  4. Financial skills, including budgeting.
  5. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams.
  6. Effective influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
  7. Excellent prioritization and planning abilities.
  8. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  9. Ability to build relationships across the enterprise.
  10. Relevant degree or experience in Finance, Engineering, Science, or Math.
  11. Project management expertise and supporting systems knowledge are a plus.
