Job summary

S1jobs in Glasgow is seeking an Associate Building Surveyor to lead project delivery, manage client relationships and support junior team members within a growing Scottish building surveying team.

You will undertake contract administration, technical due diligence, condition surveys and refurbishment projects, while contributing to business development and the continued expansion of the office in a globally recognised consultancy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline.
• MRICS chartered status with post-qualification experience.
• Experience managing client relationships on professional and project work.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to win and deliver work.

Your New Role

As an Associate Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in leading project delivery, managing client relationships and supporting the development of junior team members. You will work across a broad range of professional and project surveying instructions, including contract administration, technical due diligence, condition surveys, refurbishment projects and building pathology. You will also contribute to business development activities and help drive the continued growth of the Glasgow office.

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• MRICS qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of both professional and project-based building surveying services.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and leading projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior surveyors.
