Shirley Parsons Ltd is seeking an Associate Director Health, Safety & Wellbeing in London with a hybrid work arrangement (4 days in office, 1 day at home). This senior role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight across diverse environments, driving a strong safety culture and embedding health, safety and wellbeing across the business.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent professional qualification.
• Chartered IOSH, IIRSM or equivalent membership.
• Proven track record of leading health and safety within complex environments.
• Strong influencing, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the Health, Safety & Wellbeing team, driving performance and capability.
• Provide strategic direction on health, safety and wellbeing across complex operational environments.
• Influence senior stakeholders and ensure accountability for HSW performance.
• Oversee risk management, audits, inspections and compliance programmes, including ISO 45001.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including CDM Regulations.
• Lead incident management, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive HSW transformation programmes, innovation and best practice.
• Develop relationships with regulators, contractors and stakeholders.
• Provide assurance and reporting to senior leadership on HSW performance and risk.

Associate Director Health, Safety & Wellbeing

We are looking for an experienced Associate Director Health, Safety & Wellbeing to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across a diverse portfolio of operational, commercial, residential and retail environments.

This senior leadership role will drive a positive safety culture, lead high-performing teams, and ensure health, safety and wellbeing are embedded across all business activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Health, Safety & Wellbeing team, driving performance and capability.
• Provide strategic direction on health, safety and wellbeing across complex operational environments.
• Influence senior stakeholders and ensure accountability for HSW performance.

About You

Essential:

• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, compliance and best practice
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
