Step into a high impact role at the heart of our Institutional Coverage business. As an Associate Director in our Asset Management client coverage team, you’ll be joining a fast paced, growth focused environment that spans the UK and North America. This is your chance to shape the future of a thriving franchise by connecting clients with the full breadth of our capabilities—from investment banking products to tailored financial solutions.

You’ll manage a portfolio of high profile asset managers and work alongside a Relationship Director to deepen existing relationships and forge new ones. With exposure to a diverse and evolving sector, this role offers a unique opportunity to influence strategy, drive innovation and deliver meaningful outcomes for our clients.

Once up to speed with the broader portfolio, you’ll be given the opportunity to:

  • Support the Director in managing and growing a portfolio of high-profile Asset Management clients, with potential to lead relationships.

  • Collaborate with product partners on live transactions (e.g. Securitisations, RCFs) and strategic pitches.

  • Drive portfolio development by identifying new business opportunities and implementing tailored solutions.

  • Oversee portfolio maintenance, including client strategy, lead generation, finance, and remediation initiatives.

  • Guide Associates through the annual credit renewal process and ensure alignment with risk and policy standards.

  • Coordinate timely responses to client queries and ensure legal documentation meets credit and compliance requirements.

What we need from you?

  • Clients and Products Knowledge - a general understanding of Asset Managers types and their strategies

  • Good understanding of Investment Banking products, relevant for this sector, including Financial Markets (FX, Rates, Repo) and Structured products.

  • Familiarity with legal documentation and their differences (ISDA, CDEA, GMRA etc)

  • Conscientious and disciplined in your approach to work, confident in handling several opposing priorities

  • Collaboration - a great teammate who can take the broader view for the benefit of those they work with

  • Communication - ability to communicate effectively across different audiences

  • Risk Management and Control – Risk-conscious and care in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks

This role is considered Certified under the Senior Manager and Certification Regime as either requiring mandatory qualifications or being deemed as a role capable of providing ‘significant harm’ to customers. Due to this, successful candidates will be subject to enhanced levels of vetting, and required to complete a fitness and propriety attestation on commencement in role.
