Job summary

Autolus is seeking an Associate Director for Apheresis & Infusion Operations in Stevenage, hybrid work model. The role oversees onboarding and performance of treatment centres for CAR-T therapies, serving as the technical expert across the UK and beyond. Travel up to 50% may be required within the UK and occasionally to Europe.

You will lead Apheresis/Infusion programs, drive site readiness, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with clinical teams to optimize site footprints and capacity.

Qualifications

• Experience in Apheresis Operations Management, QA Operations, GMP production or other relevant operational areas.
• Breadth of experience in regulated (GxP) environment (hospital or pharmaceutical/biopharma).
• Experience with quality systems, document control, deviations and change controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and foster relationships with Apheresis, Cell Lab and Treatment Centre Staff for assigned region.
• Act as the single point of technical expertise for Apheresis and Infusion requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure site onboarding activities are completed on time.
• Train collection center staff on Autolus collection requirements and participate in site audits.
• Provide Quality Systems support by participating in deviation activities and investigations.
