Job description

My client, a highly-respected, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy, is currently searching for an Associate Director (Highways) to join their growing team of specialist consultants, in the bustling, diverse city of Birmingham.

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a Degree or Higher Degree in Civil Engineering, or similar, relevant discipline
  • Experience of managing a team within the Civil Engineering sector, across a wide range of projects
  • Excellent resource management skills, ensuring projects are overseen by the most effective teams
  • Outstanding technical skills, demonstrable through highways design experience
  • Proven project management of highways projects, delivering results within time and budgetary restraints
  • Experience of developing technical documents within the DMRB
  • Extensive knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements and their applications within the industry
  • Good working knowledge of the relevant software packages, including Civils 3D, AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, etc.

It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Associate Director (Highways) to possess the following:

  • Possess Chartered Status
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence
