Job description

Ivy Resource Group are currently looking to hire a Associate Director to join one of our clients on a permanent basis in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

The company:

Our client is a forward-thinking construction consultancy that works in both the domestic and commercial sector.

The role:

As an Associate Director, you will be taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery often with respect to large and complex projects. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in diverse and challenging projects with a dynamic team in a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and market expansion.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential partnerships and collaborations.
  3. Lead and participate in business development activities, such as networking events, industry conferences, and client meetings.
  4. Demonstrate the ability to take ownership of small, medium & large-sized projects.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  6. Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Essential requirements:

  1. Holder of a Full clean UK Drivers Licence
  2. Educated to Degree level, or equivalent experience
  3. MRICS/MCIOB qualified
  4. Must be flexible in hours of work and travel
  5. Candidate to be able to demonstrate having taken a substantial role in the delivery of medium to large projects (£5m to £50m+), ideally with experience of Hotel and Leisure clients.
  6. Excellent pre and post contract technical cost and commercial management skills.
  7. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  8. Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Office, project management tools).
