Olberding Brand Family in Ashford, Kent is seeking an Associate Designer to support client brands and campaigns onsite. You will assist in design development, learn storytelling, and contribute across several projects while absorbing industry knowledge and brand standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration, curiosity, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced design environment with a focus on quality, confidentiality, and client service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in graphic design.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign).
• Working knowledge of Adobe XD, After Effects, and/or Premiere is a plus.

Associate Designer - Ashford, Kent

Founded in 1919 as Phototype and recently rebranded as the Olberding Brand Family, we are a family company focused on delivering the highest quality and client service in the graphics design, management and printing industry. We Design, Optimize and Protect Brands. Our clients are primarily consumer products companies and printers and we help them by delivering a broad range of services from brand strategy and packaging design, to adaptive design across various print and digital platforms, all the way to color management and the production of printing plates. With our world headquarters located in Cincinnati, we have over 450 employees throughout the United States and offices in Europe and Asia.

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Associate Designer will work with an onsite team to support our client in helping to market the brands they produce, and consumers have come to love. To be successful in this role, you must be able to complete any assigned tactical task, while learning the industry and the brands we serve.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Minimum Required Skills

• Some project management and organization skills
• Some knowledge of consumer products packaging, creative design, and production artwork
• Ability to diplomatically receive feedback on their work and work of fellow designers

Education & Work Experience
