DEPT® in London is seeking an Associate Design Director to lead design for a high-profile AI Platform client. You will oversee the creative direction, review work, and ensure brand consistency across campaigns while mentoring a multidisciplinary team.

You will partner with the Design Director to elevate processes, inspire collaboration, and deliver top-tier work across global markets, blending strategy, design, and technology with strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading on a client with a consultative approach.
• Experience guiding designers / creatives in a client team or department.
• Strong visual judgement and confidence contributing to concepts and creative direction.
• Solid motion design skills with timing, composition, framing, and storytelling.
• Curiosity around AI tools and interest in learning how they can support creative work.
• A strong portfolio or showreel with tech or AI-led campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Develop processes, structures and raise the quality of design.
• Lead, develop, motivate and inspire DEPT's design teams and collaboration.
• Deliver innovative and high quality work across all deliverables.
• Develop strong creative ideas rooted in narrative, pacing, composition, and visual structure.
• Guide execution across motion and static deliverables to keep work aligned with the creative intent.
• Be the face and voice of design at DEPT to raise the team's profile.
