Job summary

A dental practice in Plymouth is seeking an Associate Dentist to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers excellent opportunities for mentorship, a flexible work schedule from 1.5 to 5 days a week, and a generous joining bonus up to £20,000. Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive dental services and participating in urgent care when available. Ideal candidates must be registered with the GDC and hold an active performer number.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check will be required on request.
• Experience with NHS/Denplan/fee-per-item patient care is ideal.

Overview

Associate Dentist - Plymouth, Devon

MBR Dental are currently assisting an independently owned dental practice located in Plymouth, Devon to recruit an Associate Dentist to join their team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Inherit an established list of NHS, Denplan and Fee Per Item patients.
• Deliver a full range of General Dentistry, including Smile Makeovers, Short Term Orthodontics, Facial Aesthetics and Implants.
• Work with a team of clinicians and support staff, including a Dental Hygienist/Therapist.
• Participate in stabilisation/urgent care dentistry as available.
• Utilise on-site equipment and technology (iTero/Trios, CBCT, OPG, Intraoral Cameras, All Dec chairs, Rotary Endo, Digital X-rays).
• Operate in a computerized practice with SOE software.
• Contribute to a supportive environment, with mentorship opportunities for multiple clinicians.

Responsibilities – Work Arrangements

• Full or part time opportunity, 1.5 days - 5 days per week.
• Surgery space Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm.
• Stabilisation/urgent care dentistry available for 1 day / 1.5 days per week at £500 per full day; no UDA target.
• Practice offers a large team and a supportive, FD training environment for newly qualified dentists.
