Associate Dentist Opportunity – Fowey, Cornwall

Are you looking for a new chapter in your dental career in one of Cornwall’s most beautiful waterside communities? We are seeking a friendly, skilled, and dedicated dentist to join our team in Fowey, with the opportunity to take over an established and loyal patient list from a retiring colleague in March 2026

About the Practice

Our independent dental practice has built an excellent reputation for high-quality patient care and a welcoming, supportive environment. You’ll be joining a close-knit team consisting of:

• 2 Receptionists

• 1 Hygienist

• 1 Therapist

• 4 Part-time Dentists (including the retiring colleague)

• 5 Dental Nurses

The practice offers a mix of NHS and private dentistry, with the majority of the retiring dentist’s work now private. There’s also a steady demand for cosmetic, implants and Invisalign which the outgoing dentist has been providing. The practice also offers facial aesthetics using Profile and Botox.

The outgoing dentist has already reduced his days from 4 to 3 per week, allowing for an immediate opportunity to start integrating into the team and building relationships with patients before his full retirement in March 2026.

What We’re Looking For

• GDC Registered Dentist with experience in both NHS and private practice.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain the excellent patient relationships built over many years.

• An interest in cosmetic dentistry, implants, or Invisalign would be advantageous but not essential.

• Someone who is either looking to settle long-term or potentially take on ownership of the practice in the future.
