Position Overview:

The Associate Data Analyst will design and develop both basic and advanced data visualizations, including dashboards, graphs, and charts. This role involves all aspects of the development lifecycle, from data collection, processing, transformation, testing, to product delivery and support. Working closely with the software engineering team for cameras and back-office processing, this position is critical for future product offerings related to photo-enforcement and intelligent motorway management.

The responsibilities include:

1. Defining the technology vision and strategy for big data analysis in traffic management solutions.
2. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and designers to deliver end-to-end products, from conception through data assessment, algorithm development, testing, validation, and integration.
3. Developing machine learning models using data from traffic sensors and other sources.
4. Working with large datasets and distributed computing technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Apache Spark (experience preferred).
5. Creating advanced data reporting and visualization capabilities, integrating multiple data sources for detailed insights into photo enforcement programs.
6. Providing architectural guidance and support to Business Analysts and software teams.
7. Researching emerging technologies to enhance system development and recommending cost-effective, flexible solutions.
8. Coordinating with internal and external technical resources, project managers, vendors, and stakeholders to plan and implement analytics initiatives.
