Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We're looking for a talented Associate Cost Consultant to join a leading international consultancy in our Cardiff office. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a dynamic team delivering expert cost management services across various sectors.

About the Role:

As an Associate Cost Consultant, you'll support project leaders in delivering high standards of service and achieving successful outcomes for our clients. You'll work on a range of exciting projects, including large commercial new builds for blue-chip clients, private residential developments, and local government frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate cost advice and reporting
  • Deliver projects and professional assignments
  • Lead in setting objectives and priorities
  • Maintain effective communication for project success
  • Undertake commercial management services
  • Support team leaders in cost management
  • Build strong client relationships

What we're looking for:

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • MRICS membership preferred
  • Experience in private commercial sector (offices, residential, hospitality, major projects, fit-out, refurb)
  • Expert in Excel and CostX (or similar)
  • Skills in sustainability and data (carbon assessment, Power BI)
  • Strong contract administration skills
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills
  • Proactive, well-organised, and a team player
