As an Associate Cost Accountant at Entrust, you will play a key role on the Cost Accounting team and be a valuable resource for our Operations function. Your focus will be on Global Operations and ensuring proper accounting is performed, analyzed and Global Manufacturing performance is reported timely and accurately to all levels of Management. You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from many other functions to help drive and achieve our overall Corporate Goals.

Responsibilities

  • Support the leaders within Operations on Manufacturing and Supply chain expense analysis and variance explanations.
  • Help develop and maintain cost accounting systems, documentation, and records.
  • Be involved in the setup and costing of products and new product introductions.
  • Assist in inventory cycle counts and verification of inventory onhand.
  • Provide financial support to cross-functional teams with analysis of costs and results.
  • Assist and engage with the preparation of the annual Manufacturing and Supply Chain Budget to ensure accurate standard costs and proper absorption.
  • Knowledge and understanding of corporate accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands on experience with Oracle or other comparable ERP system, and report writing tools such as AWS, Business Objects and Tableau.
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations and basic BOM structures.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated problem resolution skills
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Office, Excel, Access and PowerPoint (ability to create graphs and Power Point presentations).
  • Demonstrated ability to perform Ad hoc Analysis as needed to support management decision making.
  • CMA a plus.

Compensation

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $62,213-$91,246 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan. In addition to your pay, Entrust offers eligible colleagues and their dependents comprehensive health and well-being programs which include medical, vision, dental, a generous 401(k) matching contribution, life and disability insurance, mental health coaching, virtual fitness programs, paid personal time off plus 12 paid holidays, parental leave and education reimbursement.
