Job summary

Henderson Scott, Leeds-based in the Sales & Marketing US Water Infrastructure team, is seeking an Associate Consultant. You will engage in training, source and engage talent, negotiate offers and onboard candidates, and build client relationships.

The role covers North America markets for water infrastructure suppliers and manufacturers, offering a basic salary around £26k-£28k plus up to 40% commission, hybrid working, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an Associate Consultant to join our Leeds based, Sales & Marketing, US Water Infrastructure team and contribute to our success by delivering exceptional recruitment solutions to our clients.

What you’ll do and develop:

• Engage wholeheartedly with our award‑winning training and development program; a combination of "classroom" style, on‑line learning and on the job mentoring and coaching.
• Work up to managing the full recruitment life-cycle, from sourcing and engaging top talent to negotiating offers and on-boarding candidates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates.
• Develop new business opportunities and manage existing accounts.
• Stay updated on industry trends to position Henderson Scott as a trusted partner in recruitment.

Market that you will cover:

• Our team focus on hiring sales professionals from mid‑senior to board level across North America.
• We work with SME's and global organisations in the Water & Wastewater market.
• Our clients range from manufacturers of Water Infrastructure products or the global companies across Chemicals, Filtration Equipment, Coolers and Chillers, Pumps & Valves and Full Treatment solutions.
• These companies sell into a range of F&B, Data Centres, Municipal, Industrial, Oil & Gas and Manufacturing markets.
