In this role, you’ll join the R&D Advisory Group within Syneos Health Consulting where you will help make life science R&D organisations and operations more efficient and effective across research, clinical, regulatory, quality and pharmacovigilance. As an R&D Associate Consultant, you’ll help organisations in times of change whether that’s a change in operating model, strategy, processes, technology, or a combination of these. You will:

  1. Work with senior customer stakeholders to comprehend the customer’s business goals, processes, operations, and expectations.
  2. Clearly define opportunities to deliver value to the customer by executing management consulting projects.
  3. Develop customer proposals, demonstrating a clear understanding of the needs and objectives, approach and solution, plus the commercial construct to deliver projects.
  4. Develop engagement strategies and present findings and recommendations to team members.
  5. Plan and lead the execution of project engagements.
  6. Conduct quality management oversight of project deliverables.
  7. Develop content to leverage in business development opportunities with prospective customers.
  8. Actively build a network of potential customers by utilising social media, attending seminars and conferences, and through referrals.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business.
  2. Consulting management experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical/biotech consulting, or equivalent industry.
  3. Experience working in one or more R&D operational roles either in industry or consulting.
  4. Strong presentation and business development skills.

Desired Requirements:

  1. Master’s degree in life sciences or business.
