Job summary

Clarivate seeks a London- or Barcelona-based Associate Consultant to join the Life Sciences & Healthcare Commercial Consulting Services team, specialising in Customer Strategy and Commercialisation. The Associate Consultant supports client engagements, business development and internal initiatives, delivering digital healthcare communication projects for leading pharma and biotech clients.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Life Sciences or Business; advanced degree a plus
• 2 years consulting/advisory experience in biopharma or life sciences
• Strong skills in research, analysis, forecasting and due diligence
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft tools

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute various primary and secondary research efforts needed for projects
• Conduct qualitative research through desktop research and interviews with KOLs, physicians, providers, payors and industry knowledge experts to obtain insights and data relevant to client engagements
• Perform quantitative analysis (e.g., financial modelling, data manipulation, claims analysis) to develop accurate product and market forecasts (e.g., sales projections, size of market)
• Synthesize large amounts of data into discrete stories and assumptions to determine the so-what for clients
• Contribute to brainstorming and framework development to address key client strategic needs
• Produce quality client deliverables including PowerPoint presentations, reports, white papers
• Engage in multiple client projects, coordinating internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget
• Support senior team members with opportunistic business development efforts including greenfield research and developing proposals and pitch books
• Contribute to the social environment by executing assigned firm‑building activities including knowledge management, internal training sessions
• Manage digital healthcare communication projects across their full lifecycle — from initial scoping to final delivery
• Manage the global Clarivate Point of Care partner network, aligning capabilities and sharing best practices across markets
• Serve as a day-to-day contact for clients, maintaining clear communication, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction
