An exciting opportunity has arisen for a construction associate with 2-5 years' PQE to join the highly regarded Energy & Infrastructure team at a leading international firm. This role focuses on non-contentious matters in the renewables sector.

The opportunity

The team seeks a technically strong and commercially astute associate to support a broad range of construction and O&M aspects of renewable energy projects. Working directly with senior team members, including a London-based partner and a senior associate, you'll gain exposure to high-profile international mandates across Europe, Asia, and the US. This role is ideal for someone looking to deepen their expertise in renewables, especially offshore wind and energy transition projects.

What they're looking for:

  • 2-5 years' post-qualification experience in construction law (non-contentious)
  • Strong drafting experience of FIDIC contracts (essential)
  • Experience advising on Construction and O&M aspects of renewables projects
  • Offshore wind experience is highly desirable
  • Experience with oil & gas projects and an interest in transitioning to renewables will be considered
  • Experience with marine agreements (BIMCO and LOGIC) is advantageous
  • Strong academic background
  • Training from a leading international, Magic Circle, Silver Circle, or US firm
  • England & Wales qualified (preferred)

Remuneration

Highly competitive salary plus bonus and benefits. For context, NQs at this firm earn approximately £160,000 per annum.
