  • Maintain clearly defined lines of communication with oncology and other relevant teams to facilitate cancer care.
  • Be an active member of the multi-disciplinary team, working across all secondary care services involved in cancer care.

Job description

The Associate Nurse Specialist will work as an independent practitioner in partnership with the Breast CNS and advanced nurse practitioner in delivering high quality nursing care within the Breast Cancer Nursing Service) to a specific caseload of patients, and directed by the Breast Cancer CNS and Advanced Nurse Practitioner promoting excellence of care, support, information and coordination for patients with cancer within the, outpatients department and for inpatients.

  • To ensure and maintain clearly defined lines of communication with oncology and other relevant teams to facilitate the care of people with Cancer.
