Nottingham University Hospitals NHS trusts is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist in cancer care to provide expert nursing support within the CAT Team, guiding patients from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up.
The CNS will coordinate complex pathways, deliver patient-centred care, and provide clinical leadership across the cancer pathway, working with a multidisciplinary team. Experience in oncology and commitment to NICE guidance are desirable.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) will provide expert specialist cancer nursing care within the CAT Team, supporting patients throughout the cancer pathway from diagnosis to treatment, follow-up and ongoing care. Working as part of the multidisciplinary team, the post holder will deliver high standards of patient-centred care, coordinate complex pathways, and provide clinical leadership within their area of expertise.
The role involves managing a defined caseload, acting as a key point of contact for patients and carers, and contributing to safe, effective and timely service delivery in line with national cancer standards, NICE guidance and Trust policies. The post plays a key role in maintaining service quality, continuity of care and patient safety.
